There are three basic steps that homeowners can do to help maintain their AC units and keep them running properly. The first step is to regularly check the air filter in your AC unit, typically one every month or two will suffice.
The next step homeowners can take is to wash off the core of their AC unit. A simple water hose will work to get the job done. Last but definitely not least is to have a regular inspection of your unit. It is suggested to have your unit inspected twice a year to help avoid local AC repairs and problems later on.
